Founder, Casomo Ltd
Engineering that ships.

I'm a software engineer based in Cambridge, UK with a uniquely cross-domain background — from physics R&D and embedded systems through to web applications. I run Casomo Ltd — one engineer, not an agency. I take on a small number of consulting engagements and build my own software products between them.
I started in physics R&D, working in academia and commercial functional materials. In 2016 I moved into software — first medical robotics, then gas sensing for defence, then consulting. Most recently I was lead engineer at a fintech startup building tools for insurers.
Every role meant solving problems from a blank sheet of paper with bright people across disciplines. I wrote software to bring hardware to life. I also worked from the angle of verification: clarifying what the system had to do, then proving it did.
That combination is what I now offer directly. Not everyone can bring in a large consultancy, and not everyone needs to. When you work with me, you're dealing with one engineer who gets the problem from the underlying science through to the software. No layers, no middlemen — a trusted partner who can help you get where you need to be.
